Mr. Chill and the Witnesses: http://www.mrchillhoppe.com/

Kelly "Mr Chill" Hoppe sports impressive credentials as a long-time member of the gold and platinum selling Canadian blues-dub-rock and roll band Big Sugar. With his new project, Mr Chill and the Witnesses, harp-man Hoppe returns to his roots mixing country, bluegrass, blues, gospel and honky tonk to create a fresh and exciting sound.

the Doug and Jess Band: http://www.dougandjess.com

Doug and JessThe high and lonesome bluegrass sound of Doug and Jess Reimer will again fill Morden Park Bowl. Together with the mandolin and fiddle of Jeremy G. Hamm, and the banjo of Tim Osmond, what a sweet sound that is!

The Perpetrators: http://www.perps.ca/
These guys know how to fuel a party with their hot garage-rock-blues trio. Nominated for a Juno in 2005 for their indie release The Gas and the Clutch, these guys are definitely on their way up!

CARA LUFT ttp://www.caraluft.com/web/index.shtml

Another Juno-winner (with the Wailin' Jennys), Cara Luft brings her considerable skills for a return visit to the festival this year. Cara is an exceptionally talented guitarist and singer whose stage credits include Lilith Fair as well as England's prestigious International Guitar Festival.

Big Dave McLean: http://www.stonyplainrecords.com/Web/artist.asp?id=392

Juno-winning Stony Plain recording artist, bluesman Big Dave McLEAN boasts an authenticity that all admire but few possess. Big Dave has shared stages all across the country with many of great names of the idiom since the 1970's, and makes his Back Forty debut this year.

Dead Horse

Named after the creek that runs through town, these boys are the shining example of Morden's talent pool.

Dwayne Dueck (guitar, vocals), Karl Redding (guitar, vocals), and Joel Titchkosky (Dobro, guitar, vocals) are all talented guitar-pickers, singers and songwriters in their own right, and they bring it all together into an inspiring blend of traditional and original roots and country music.

Stew Clayton

Manitou's own multi-International Yodelling Champion, Stew Clayton makes a long-awaited comeback to our festival. His vocal prowess is well-known throughout Canada and the United States, and has won him numerous awards in both countries. His has been a rich career, spanning over 50 years
and influenced by the likes of Wilf Carter and every notable yodeller out there. He also plays a mean saw!
